"My name is Barbara and I am Polish. I study at the university and I needed to speak French, thus I had to study it in a short time.
I chose the summer Intensive course. I had one month of courses- five days a week in two parts(parties). The first one in the morning, it was the grammar, the vocabulary, the everyday life and the popular culture. The afternoon: courses of literature, contemporary business(affairs) and conversations on political, social subjects and others.
The professors were French and had already worked abroad. They also had some experience in the French schools. The relations between the students and the teachers were very friendly, we met after the courses or at noon during the lunch. My group was very small thus the courses were more effective than when I was going to school in Poland.
The school is situated in an ancient historical building, during summer it’s cool and the heat does not disturb. The atmosphere was very friendly, there is a room to stay or to prepare something to eat. In the library there are lots of French books, comic books, novels for all levels. During my stay I read seven books!
I lived in a French family where there were boys of my age. The house was situated in the center of the town and I was just five minutes away from the school. It was the best choice - I had to speak French all the time - at the school, in house, but at the begginning I spoke a basic French. My family was used to live with people who did not speak French well so they helped me to express all that I wanted. I felt as if I was at home during this month.
Bordeaux is rather a big city with many interesting places - the medieval churches, the museums of the fine arts. I spent almost every afternoon in the shade of trees of the Public garden - a big park just next to the school, very nice.
During weekends I travelled a little - to Arcachon (at the seaside), to Blaye (with very known vineyards), at the the lake in Bordeaux.
It was the best language course I’ve ever had! Within a month I made a one-year program of school in Poland and I am sure that next holidays I will go back in Bordeaux to study in FRENCH FACTORY Bordeaux ! "
"I have been a student at FFB for 4 months now and I love it! The ambiance is great, very relaxed and welcoming but also professional.
You are made to feel very welcome and are provided with all of the tools necessary when learning a new language. There is a lot of interaction, different teaching methods are used and everything is throughly explained.
The teachers are excellent and are trained to understand how a foreign mind works when learning a new language - which can be a great comfort!
I can't recommend this school highly enough! I have attended 2 other language schools before this in Bordeaux and have certainly found this one to be the best! The classes are small and personalised which speeds up the learning progress. Also you are taught practical and relative french not just standard 'text book french'.
If you are looking to learn french this is the school to come to! I live in Bordeaux and therefore need to learn french to live comfortably in France but if you want to simply spend a week or so studying/learning/improving your french I think that you would learn a lot more at this school than any other due to the amount of interaction and the way the classes are conducted."
" If you study in FRENCH FACTORY Bordeaux you are going to be very comfortable. This school makes you feel like you were in home studying. While you study you can have a lot of fun, the classes are not boring, in this way you can learn and have fun, it’s the best !
I attended intensive FLE courses in FRENCH FACTORY Bordeaux (5 hours a week during 2 months). At the beginning when I arrived the only thing I knew in French was 'bonjour' (hello) ! Now I can understand almost eveything and have conversations in French. "
